Netflix's sci-fi horror series looks astonishing in full trailer
This has the potential to be a really great idea. Now, it has a full-length trailer that provides even more details, and I find it even more fascinating than I did at first.
It appears the film will approach the line carefully, but the trailer gives us a hint that the situation could become quite violent if things don't go as planned.
Here's what it's like: a classic sci-fi story comes to life when a family moves into a one-of-a-kind house with an old-fashioned look and a robot helper powered by artificial intelligence called Cassandra. At first, they're thrilled with her, both because of the incredible amount of household chores she can handle, and because her manner and personality are so convincing.
What this trailer hints at, however, is that the mystery of who Cassandra really is might be a bit more complex than initially thought. We catch glimpses of a woman in flashbacks who looks similar to the AI system, and it seems like she might have been killed to power it up. Details about this theory, however, will only be fully revealed in the full series.
The visuals of the show look amazing, blending old-fashioned design elements with cutting-edge technology for a unique combination. It's also evident that the show has a tongue-and-cheek sense of humor, as seen in a scene where Cassandra opens a drawer full of cooking utensils, revealing many devices that could be used as deadly weapons.
imminent by that point.
