The V8 lovers can't stop it. But will they ever embrace it?

A Quick Charger Daytona Overview

As we touched on, there are two versions of the Charger Daytona available initially. The R/T with Stage 1 upgrade is the starting point. Peak output from its dual motors is 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. Dodge claims it gets to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and it will do the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds. Opting for the Scat Pack with its Stage 2 upgrade gets you 670 peak hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. It also knocks 1.4 seconds off the 60 mph sprint, and 1.1 seconds off the quarter-mile. Both get the same 100.5-kWh battery pack (with 93.9 usable kWh), but they naturally have different ranges. The R/T has a maximum range of 308 miles, and the Scat Pack drops to 241 miles, though both drop farther with wider optional tires.
